rigid Rules by Rose is a text that focus in the idea of the students who block when they are writing. There is a study that five of the ten students get blocked because of many reasons. Some reasons because the students have this problem are: They spend a lot of time writing the first paragraph or the introduction because they want it to be impressive, that captivates the reader attention, also a problem related with this is that students may spend until two hours trying to write a good introduction including a good thesis statement, a lot of times they do not like it and erase them a couple of times. Other problem that students may have is that they are kind of perfectionist when trying to write "formal", this happens because of the grammar situation and could be a problem for a lot of them. So, In my own opinion to make a good paper or writing you have to be able to write down all of your ideas first, even though thee are not in the proper order, write fluently even though the grammar is mispeled. Once you have everything written down, now its more easy to revise your paper, and make corrections, add details, etc. In this way you do not spend a lot of time trying to impress the reader. Once you have it you could even ask for help or investigate how yopu could improve your text, this once everything is written down. I agreee with this paper because this is a very common problem in our society, this happen often for those students that their first language is no the English language, so, sometimes they struggle with the grammar. I remember that I read that some hispanic students wrote their first drafts in "Spanglish" combining words in spanish and english, so in this way the paper make sense to them, and do not spend a lot of time struggling with words or grammar.
