In this article the authors tells us a lot of important things; they compare two articles on written by a first year student and the other one by an experimented person, both of them were assigned to write, this in order to write with more authority to proff if someone may gain the proper knowledge in the topic they are about to write. What I learned from this article is that the knowledge and the information are the key to write with "authority". The key of this based on the information shown in the article is try to increase the domain knowledge upon which authority is supposedly found. Also I liked the article because I learned that by knowing more you will be more confident when writing or talking about you topic. Another main idea that is really important is to have strong arguments when writing a paper or when speaking in public so in this way it can give you more credibility and sometimes self confidence of what really what are you trying to express or let the other people know that you really know in many ways that you are right and that your paper tells the truth or your speech as well. The way this article relates with the past assignments is that in this paper, the authors literally teach you how to make strong arguments on papers and the other ones tells you how to write properly in few words I can say. So, in the past articles you learn how to write and in this paper how to make it valuable, stronger and good to read. Manuel Lucero
